Week 2 of the 2026 season, with Detroit at Buffalo already in the books from Thursday. The injury list sets the board: Brock Bowers is doubtful after a knee procedure, Nico Collins (hamstring) is out for Houston, Zay Flowers (hamstring) is doubtful for Baltimore, Ladd McConkey (rib) is questionable for the Chargers, and Kyler Murray (concussion) and Sam Darnold are out, so Carson Wentz and Drew Lock start again. For the Raiders, the account is simple: Ashton Jeanty took 70% of the carries and 21% of the targets in Week 1, and the rest of the offense produced 160 passing yards. At the Chargers as 6.5-point underdogs with an 18.5-point implied total, Jeanty is the only Raider we trust at the PPR lines. The approach this week is to buy vacated targets (Dalton Schultz, Mark Andrews, Stefon Diggs) and fade Week 1 box scores built on touchdowns rather than role (Jalen Coker, Parker Washington, Trevor Lawrence).

## Raiders players

- **Brock Bowers** (TE, LV at LAC, Doubtful). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Doubtful after a meniscus trim, with no practice until a limited session Friday, and the Raiders will test him in pregame warmups. Even if active he is likely on a snap count, and in guillotine a zero is the worst outcome. Michael Mayer is the pivot.
- **Kirk Cousins** (QB, LV at LAC). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 13.8 points in Week 1 despite three touchdowns, on 160 yards and minus-6 rushing. No rushing floor, a road trip as a 6.5-point underdog and an 18.5-point implied total. Without the touchdowns it was a single-digit day, under both lines.
- **Ashton Jeanty** (RB, LV at LAC). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 23 carries, six targets and 73% of the snaps in Week 1 for 32.7 PPR points. He handles 70% of the rushing attempts and runs a route on 61% of dropbacks, the highest floor on the roster. Even as a 6.5-point road underdog, the receiving work keeps him over both lines.
- **Jalen Nailor** (WR, LV at LAC). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Five targets and 27 yards on a 60% snap share in Week 1, in a pass game that produced 160 yards. An 18.5-point implied total leaves no room for a fourth option to reach 14, and there is no floor here for guillotine.
- **Michael Mayer** (TE, LV at LAC). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. With Bowers doubtful, Mayer is the handcuff who inherits the job: 81% of the snaps and seven targets in Week 1 when Bowers sat. The yardage was thin, but seven looks from a tight end clears 10 PPR points more often than not, and the 7-point guillotine line is six short catches. If Bowers is active Sunday, this call is off.
- **Tre Tucker** (WR, LV at LAC). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Four targets and 27 yards on a 71% snap share in Week 1, a 13.3% target share. Plenty of snaps and few targets is the profile that eliminates guillotine teams, and the Chargers gave up the 13th-fewest points per target to perimeter receivers last season. 14 PPR needs a long touchdown.
- **Jack Bech** (WR, LV at LAC). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 40% of the snaps and four targets in Week 1; the touchdown covered a thin role. Until he plays more than half the snaps he needs another score in an 18.5-point implied offense, and touchdown-dependent part-timers sink guillotine lineups.

## Quarterbacks

### Start 'em

- **Jaxson Dart** (QB, NYG at LAR). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 26.6 points in Week 1 on 230 passing yards and 11 rushes for 54. The rushing floor is the whole case, in both formats: at the Rams in a 48.5 total, trailing by a touchdown means more scrambles and more volume.
- **Caleb Williams** (QB, CHI vs MIN). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 37.3 points in Week 1 on 269 yards, four total touchdowns and 10 rushes for 65 yards. The rushing work is the floor in both formats. Chicago is a 4.5-point home favorite implied for 26.5 in a 48.5 total, against a Vikings offense starting Carson Wentz.
- **Tyler Shough** (QB, NO at BAL). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 56 attempts for 410 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1. New Orleans is an 8.5-point underdog in Baltimore, and the Ravens are without Nnamdi Madubuike and T.J. Tampa, so the volume holds. He adds nothing on the ground, but 40-plus attempts with two touchdowns clears both lines.

### Sit 'em

- **Trevor Lawrence** (QB, JAX at DEN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Four touchdowns on 23 attempts in Week 1 is not a repeatable rate, and he ran twice for 3 yards. Denver allows the second-fewest yards per target to perimeter receivers and Jacksonville is implied for 21.5. That low-volume, touchdown-driven profile misses both lines on a normal day.
- **Jordan Love** (QB, GB at NYJ). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 387 yards on 42 attempts produced only 19.5 points, with the highest off-target rate in the league. The Jets allowed the fewest yards per attempt in Week 1 and Love adds nothing on the ground. Neither line is safe without multiple touchdowns in a 44.5 total.
- **Joe Burrow** (QB, CIN at HOU, Questionable). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Back tightness limited him Wednesday and Thursday before a full session Friday; he plays with a Q tag. Week 1 was 14.2 points on 35 attempts with Ja'Marr Chase held to four targets. Cincinnati is implied for 21.5 on the road, and a pocket passer managing his back at that total is under both lines as the base case.

## Running backs

### Start 'em

- **David Montgomery** (RB, HOU vs CIN). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 20 carries, three touchdowns and the goal-line job in Week 1. Nico Collins is out, which pushes more of Houston's offense onto the run, and Cincinnati allows the fifth-highest rushing success rate. Implied for 24 at home; the carries alone clear the guillotine line.
- **Kyren Williams** (RB, LAR vs NYG). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Handled all four Rams red-zone rushes in Week 1 on a 63% snap share. The Rams are 7-point home favorites with a 27.75-point implied total. The role is secure and touchdown equity carries him to both lines.
- **Travis Etienne Jr.** (RB, NO at BAL). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Nine targets and seven catches in Week 1 on top of nine carries. New Orleans is an 8.5-point underdog in Baltimore, the script that feeds his receiving role, and seven or so catches is a floor before any rushing yards count.

### Sit 'em

- **Breece Hall** (RB, NYJ vs GB). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Start. Split call. 22 carries in Week 1, but only two targets and a 30.8% route share. Green Bay allows the lowest explosive run rate, so 14 PPR points needs a touchdown the Jets may not produce: sit in PPR. The guillotine line is 10, and 20-plus carries clears it on volume alone: start there.
- **Rhamondre Stevenson** (RB, NE vs PIT). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. The 85% snap share in Week 1 came with TreVeyon Henderson inactive. Henderson is cleared to return, Pittsburgh allows the ninth-lowest explosive run rate, and Stevenson scored 14.5 with the whole backfield to himself. A split backfield has no guillotine floor either.
- **D'Andre Swift** (RB, CHI vs MIN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 32.4 points in Week 1 on 18 carries, 124 yards, three touchdowns and one target. Kyle Monangai took 10 carries for 100 yards and a score, so this is a committee, and 6.9 yards a carry does not hold. With no receiving role he needs a touchdown or a long run to reach 14 PPR, and 10 in guillotine is no lock either.

## Wide receivers

### Start 'em

- **Stefon Diggs** (WR, WSH at DAL). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Nine targets and a 26% target share in Week 1. Chig Okonkwo is out, Dallas allowed the seventh-most points per target to slot receivers, and this is the slate's highest total at 50.5. Six catches for 50 yards clears the guillotine line.
- **Emeka Egbuka** (WR, TB vs CLE). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Six targets, five catches and 63 yards in Week 1, and Jalen McMillan is questionable with a knee. Tampa Bay is an 8.5-point home favorite implied for 25 against a Browns team that gave up 34 in Jacksonville. A repeat of Week 1 clears the guillotine line; two more targets or a share of the touchdowns gets him to 14.
- **Devaughn Vele** (WR, NO at BAL). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Nine targets, seven catches and a touchdown for 19.9 points alongside Chris Olave in Week 1. Olave is questionable with a hamstring, the Saints threw 56 times, and as 8.5-point underdogs in Baltimore they throw again, with Ravens corner T.J. Tampa out. Seven catches is a floor in both formats.

### Sit 'em

- **Jalen Coker** (WR, CAR at ATL). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 138 yards and two scores on nine targets came at 5.10 yards per route run, a rate that does not hold. Atlanta allows the fourth-fewest points per target to perimeter receivers and the total is 43.5. A normal day for this role is 8 to 10 points.
- **Parker Washington** (WR, JAX at DEN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. The 26% target share is real, but he scored 19.3 on six targets thanks to a touchdown. Denver allows the third-fewest points per target to slot receivers, and Jacksonville threw only 23 passes in Week 1. Six targets is not a floor.
- **Christian Watson** (WR, GB at NYJ). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 32.7 points on eight targets in Week 1 came from two touchdowns and 147 yards. The Jets allowed the fewest yards per attempt in the opener. Big-play receivers are ceiling plays, and repeating that against this secondary is the long shot.

## Tight ends

### Start 'em

- **Dalton Schultz** (TE, HOU vs CIN). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Eight targets and a 21% target share in Week 1 with Nico Collins healthy. Collins is out Sunday, and Cincinnati gave up the third-most yards per target to tight ends last season. Volume alone should clear both lines.
- **Mark Andrews** (TE, BAL vs NO). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 24% target share and a 26% first-read share in Week 1. Zay Flowers is doubtful with a hamstring, which removes 150 yards of Week 1 production from the target tree, and Baltimore is implied for 27.5 points. Seven targets clears both lines.

### Sit 'em

- **Brock Bowers** (TE, LV at LAC, Doubtful). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Doubtful after a meniscus trim, with no practice until a limited session Friday, and the Raiders will test him in pregame warmups. Even if active he is likely on a snap count, and in guillotine a zero is the worst outcome. Michael Mayer is the pivot.
- **Dallas Goedert** (TE, PHI at TEN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 23.7 points on five targets in Week 1, 12 of them from two touchdowns. Philadelphia plays at Tennessee in the slate's lowest total, 39.5, and 77 yards on four catches is not what five targets usually buys. Without a score, this role lands under 10 PPR and near the 7-point guillotine line.

## Kickers

### Start 'em

- **Brandon Aubrey** (K, DAL vs WSH). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Two points in Week 1 with no field goal attempts is the outlier. Dallas is a 3.5-point home favorite in a dome, in the slate's highest total at 50.5 and implied for 27, and his range turns any stalled drive past midfield into points. Two field goals and three extra points clears both lines.
- **Tyler Loop** (K, BAL vs NO). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Two field goals, one from 57, and five extra points for 11 in Week 1. Baltimore is an 8.5-point home favorite implied for 27.5 against a Saints defense that allowed 31 in Detroit. Extra points alone get him most of the way to both lines.

### Sit 'em

- **Chris Boswell** (K, PIT at NE). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Pittsburgh's offense did not score a touchdown in Week 1; both came from the defense, and Boswell went 2 for 3 for 8 points. The Steelers are implied for 18 at New England with Michael Pittman questionable. At that total eight points is the high end, not the floor.
- **Jake Elliott** (K, PHI at TEN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Five points in Week 1 on one field goal and three extra points. Philadelphia is at Tennessee in a 39.5 total, implied for 23.25, and this offense converts red-zone trips into touchdowns, not field goals. Eight PPR points needs two field goals plus extras; 7 in guillotine is a coin flip at best.

## Defenses

### Start 'em

- **Buccaneers D/ST** (DEF, TB vs CLE). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Cleveland scored 10 in Week 1 and allowed five sacks in Jacksonville, with Deshaun Watson throwing an interception. Tampa Bay is an 8.5-point home favorite and Cleveland is implied for 16.5, third-lowest on the slate. Sacks and a turnover or two against that offense reach 8 in PPR and 6 in guillotine.
- **Eagles D/ST** (DEF, PHI at TEN). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Tennessee scored 10 against the Jets in Week 1, with Cam Ward at 140 yards on 32 attempts and three sacks taken. The Titans are implied for 16.25, second-lowest on the slate, in a 39.5 total. Jonathan Greenard is out, which trims the rush, but three sacks and a takeaway is the median here.

### Sit 'em

- **Steelers D/ST** (DEF, PIT at NE). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 24 points in Week 1, and 12 came from two defensive touchdowns against Cooper Rush. New England is a 5.5-point home favorite implied for 23.5, which is zero from points allowed, and Joey Porter Jr. is out. Drake Maye's three interceptions last week are the only path to 8, and that is not a floor.
- **Jaguars D/ST** (DEF, JAX at DEN). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 11 points in Week 1 came against Cleveland: five sacks and 10 points allowed. Denver is a 2.5-point home favorite implied for 24, which is zero from points allowed, at altitude. Chasing last week's matchup into this one is how guillotine rosters take a 2.

## Flex

### Start 'em

- **Cam Skattebo** (RB, NYG at LAR). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. 18 carries for 81 yards and a score on a 60% snap share in Week 1, and the Rams allowed the highest rushing success rate in the opener. Devin Singletary took the passing snaps, so this is a carries-and-touchdown bet, but 18 carries is a real floor in both formats.
- **Isaiah Likely** (TE, NYG at LAR). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Sit. Split call. 27.6% target share, eight catches and four red-zone targets in Week 1, and the Giants should be throwing from behind as 7-point road underdogs: a PPR start. It came on a 50% snap share with two touchdowns doing most of the scoring, and a part-time tight end can post 3 points: a guillotine sit.
- **Jake Ferguson** (TE, DAL vs WSH). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Sit. Split call. Two targets in Week 1 is noise from a 66.7% route share. Washington allowed the most yards per target to tight ends last year and this game has the slate's top total at 50.5: a PPR start on upside. Two catches for 6 yards last week is no floor to trust at the 7-point guillotine line.
- **Mike Evans** (WR, SF vs MIA). PPR: Start. Guillotine: Start. Seven targets, six catches and a touchdown for 16.9 in Week 1, and the room behind him has emptied: Pearsall is done for the year, Kirk is on IR, Aiyuk is still away and Stribling is out. That leaves Deebo Samuel, Evans and Demarcus Robinson as the only proven receivers, and a 6-foot-5 target is who Purdy looks for inside the 10. Volume plus red-zone work clears both lines.

### Sit 'em

- **Chuba Hubbard** (RB, CAR at ATL). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. 23.7 points in Week 1 on 13 touches, 12 of them from two touchdowns. Jonathon Brooks took five touches of his own, and Carolina is implied for 23 at Atlanta. Without the scores it was 11.7 points, built on 38 receiving yards from three targets: under the PPR line and a coin flip at 10 in guillotine.
- **Mike Gesicki** (TE, CIN at HOU). PPR: Sit. Guillotine: Sit. Five catches for 78 yards and a touchdown on seven targets is a ceiling game; without the score it was 12.8. Joe Burrow is managing a back issue, Ja'Marr Chase (four targets) and Tee Higgins will draw more of the looks, and Cincinnati is implied for 21.5 on the road. Sit in both.

## Guillotine survival

Surviving Week 2 is about not handing the league a zero. There are no byes yet, so every roster is full, which means the team that gets chopped is usually the one that started an injured or part-time player. Check Sunday inactives for Bowers, McConkey, Olave and Pittman before locking. Tight end is the thinnest position: if you roster Bowers, have Michael Mayer or Dalton Schultz ready, since both clear the 7-point line on volume. Favor backs with 18-plus touches (Jeanty, Montgomery, Breece Hall) and receivers with 8-plus targets over anyone whose Week 1 came from one long score. Waivers this week hold only the one roster chopped after Week 1, so talent there is limited and mostly depth.

## Guillotine FAAB

Budget: after one chop, assume 16 more weeks of bidding and a budget that never refills. Spend 5 to 10% this week on true depth and hold the rest. The rosters that get chopped in October and November carry far better players than the one chopped in September.

The exception is an every-week starter. If the chopped team released a back with a 60% or better snap share or a receiver with a 20% or better target share, a 20 to 30% bid is justified, because that player is a lineup piece for months and prices only rise from here. Skip chopped-team quarterbacks unless you are starting an injured one: they are replaceable at the 15-point line. Skip part-time receivers who scored in Week 1.

Targets likely on waivers in regular leagues too:

Kyle Monangai, CHI: 10 carries for 100 yards and a score on 44% of the snaps behind D'Andre Swift in a 59-point offense. A 3 to 6% bid.

Devaughn Vele, NO: 91% of the snaps and nine targets in Week 1, and Chris Olave is questionable. The safest floor in this group. 4 to 8%.

Jadarian Price, SEA: 48 to 50% of the snaps and 5.2 yards per carry with Zach Charbonnet still out. 3 to 5%.

Aaron Jones Sr., MIN: Jordan Mason is on injured reserve, which leaves Jones the lead back in Minnesota. 4 to 7%.

Mack Hollins, NE: 70% of the snaps with A.J. Brown on injured reserve for about six weeks. Depth only, 1 to 2%.

Caleb Douglas, MIA: a 22% target share and a 35% first-read share in Week 1. 2 to 4%.

## How calls are graded

Each call locks at kickoff and is graded on full-PPR box-score points; kickers and defenses on standard scoring. A start cashes if the player reaches the line for his position, a sit if he stays under it. PPR lines: QB 18, RB 14, WR 14, TE 10, K 8, DEF 8. Guillotine lines: QB 15, RB 10, WR 10, TE 7, K 7, DEF 6.
