Purdy's 20-of-22 day and five straight 49ers TD drives sink Dolphins +13.5

The case was that a run-first Miami offense would shorten the game and keep nearly two touchdowns in play. For one half it did: the Dolphins held the ball 19:17 to 10:43 and trailed only 14-6. Then Brock Purdy finished 20 of 22 for 287 yards, two touchdown passes and one on the ground, San Francisco scored touchdowns on its first five drives, and Christian McCaffrey punched in two, the second after a botched Miami punt. Malik Willis hit a 77-yard touchdown late, which only trimmed it. Lost by 22 with 13.5. Missed by 8.5.

San Francisco went from -10 to -13.5 with 88% of bets and 90% of money. The Niners are coming home from Australia, and this is their first true home game. Nearly two touchdowns is a big number to lay against a run-first offense that shortens the game.
