Cam Little's 57-yard walk-off wins it but Eagles +7.5 cashes by 5.5

Cashed

Jacksonville needed a 57-yard Cam Little field goal at the horn to win 19-17, which tells you what the two-touchdown read was worth. Philadelphia rushed 18 times for 22 yards, exactly the patched-line disaster we described, and still lost by two. We had the Jaguars at -7.5 ourselves and refused to lay it off an injury list, and that was the call. Parker Washington's six catches for 124 yards and two scores were the Jacksonville offense, and Little's missed extra point kept the number in reach. Covered by 5.5.

win Jaguars 19, Eagles 17

The pick: Eagles +7.5 vs Jaguars

The case before kickoff

Jacksonville should win both lines of scrimmage in London. Philadelphia has pressured only 15.2% of dropbacks with four sacks and blitzes less than any team in the league, so Trevor Lawrence (111.2 rating, eight touchdowns, two interceptions) should get a clean pocket to work Parker Washington and Brenton Strange. On the other side, Jalen Hurts has been sacked 12 times and now plays behind rookie Markel Bell at right tackle for the retired Lane Johnson and Willie Lampkin at left guard after the Cam Jurgens trade, with Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (IR) both down against a run defense allowing about 3.2 yards a carry. The Eagles' one opening is a Jacksonville pass defense allowing 7.6 net yards per attempt, with corners Jarrian Jones, Jourdan Lewis and Montaric Brown all limited Wednesday. We make it Jaguars -7.5 at a neutral site, right where the market sits. Most of that gap is Philadelphia's injury list, which we won't lay points against, so this is a lean on the hook and nothing more.
